So, anyone know what current rental cars have 4x100 bolt patterns?

So since my car is going to be in the shop for repair, I am wondering if anyone knows if any of the current cheapo rental cars out there have a 4x100 bolt pattern and could fit a 15 inch wheel. Haha you might be able to guess where I am going with this...

well I don’t think Hertz/Avis/Enterprise carries one of those! But this chart is very helpful, thanks. Maybe a Spark, but I wonder if that would pass tech for the width to height ratio?? Hyundai Accent would definitely work. Or a Nissan Versa. Haha a Versa note with hoosiers should be fun!

Chevy Cobalt and Saturn Ion are probably the easiest to source. But I doubt any are still being rented.

YESSSS, I so want a Spark with hoosiers on it!! No way in hell that car is legal though. It is way too tall for how narrow it is.

It’s a rental. The cool thing about rentals is that they come with rental tires to burn up. You don’t have to supply your own.

Tricky. Anything still using that bolt pattern is going to be small. Not a problem for you, but a problem for most, which means that even though they may be listed as available when you reserve them, they’ll be mysteriously missing when you arrive at the counter, meaning a free upgrade to something larger (and not 4x100). So few people actually want small cars that it’s cheaper to upgrade those who do than to actually have some small cars in the fleet, it seems.

Yes but said rental tires aren’t nearly as fun as hoosiers.

Nissan Versa/Versa Note, Hyundai Accent/Kia Rio, Chevrolet Spark and Toyota Yaris.

Oh yeah, I know it is going to be a crap shoot, but if I have a choice I at least wanted to know ahead of time which cars will work. Seems like the Hertz near me ALWAYS has a Hyundai accent and Nissan versa. Either one will definitely fit unless somehow a 15x6 with 195 tires is too big, but I doubt that.

Haha, it sucks ass and I’ve rented it waaaaay too much :)

Hoosier would just make it less understeery, and yep, understeer is the only way you can have fun with it:)

Oh yeah, the one I had once was terrible but I still REALLY wanted to see how terribly fun it would be at an autocross with some good tires on it. Now I have an excuse to try that out.

The Sonic(Aveo) has 5x105, not 4x100. When I had mine finding wheels was so hard.

Oh really? It’s not what I saw when checking it out... maybe older models?

The Accent would. Also the Kia Rio.

The only problem with the Accent is I know from experience that it wont hold it in second gear at the redline. But that is probably the case with any newer automatic car that I can get there. Not a bad car though, at least it is lightweight and not really slow. With sticky tires it ought to do alright.

No, my car will be in the shop but I don’t want to miss the upcoming autocross. Additionally, I don’t want to use crappy all seasons if I don’t have to. I have a set of 15x6.5 Miata wheels with hoosiers on them (4x100 bolt pattern). Therefore, I have my solution!
